Hi! I’m Hannah, a newbie to the food blogging scene in 2016. Blogging has been a long-considered hobby of mine, since my wee year abroad blog over on tumblr and something I’m now ready and excited to start again.
I’m a 20-something Coventrian, working in Birmingham and growing to absolutely love this vibrant, diverse and most of all, growing foodie city.
Basically when it comes down to it, I live and breathe food. From the act of eating, to pondering my next intake of food, to snapping recipes I hope I’ll try one day (emphasis on one day), to drooling over #foodporn and fantasising about my choice on the menu of the next restaurant I’m visiting (or any restaurant for that matter); it’s safe to say I love food.
This blog is my online space to bang on about (a sweet sigh of relief for those around me on a daily basis) all the food and drink havens I’m ticking off my list in the Midlands and beyond. These might be gems both old & new or those I discover elsewhere on my travels, and any tasty bits in between.
One last note. I don’t believe fine food always comes in the form of fine dining. As much as I love the excitement and sense of occasion that comes with fine dining that I have been lucky enough to experience so far, I equally love a cheap 241 or comfort meal at home. Sometimes the best meals come from the simplest of establishments or from the comfort of your own home.
I’m looking forward to hearing from and meeting fellow foodies along the way – welcome all to Han Eats.
(Please bear with while I tinker with the pretty bits and get this digital lark in check… And hopefully improve my food photos as I go along!)
